Are you using the "continuous shooting" setup? With that, you can usually grab that one moment which really sums it up. Nice job on these. I really like your background with the photo studio. Notice all those "Hot Lights". They are still popular for some things.
Yes I was using the continuous shooting mode. With the D3100, I get about 3 shots per sec, which is not bad. Also I was shooting in auto sports mode. I'm not happy with the short depth of field, I need to learn more about my settings to increase shutter speed and a smaller aperture. Bump the ISO maybe?
